This program offers a unique opportunity to explore the confluence of Bhakti Yoga,guided by Dr. Jayashree’s expertise and passion for Sanskrit chanting and ancient wisdom.
Participants will experience the richness of Indian wisdom traditions while developing a deeper understanding of the philosophical foundations and practical applications of these ancient teachings.
Jayashree is a beloved teacher of chanting, Sanskrit, and wisdom in Mysore. Over the past 25 years, nearly 10,000 international and local yoga students have come to her library to learn traditional chanting of the Yoga Sutras, Vedic Mantras, Bhagavad Gita, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika, as well as beautiful hymns and devotional songs. Dr. Jayashree is a trained Carnatic classical singer and became a favorite singer of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and sang yearly at his birthday celebrations.
Kiki Flynn, a student of Dr. Jayashree for over 25 years, gives support to Jayashree, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive experience.
